In Our Prepress Deptartment, We Can Produce The Following Types Of Proofs:

In Our Electronic Prepress Deptartment, We Use The Following Software:

• Quark Express
• Adobe Acrobat
• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe PhotoShop
• Adobe PageMaker
• Adobe Illustrator
• Macromedia Software (FreeHand, FireWorks, ect.)
• Microsoft Design Products (Publisher and Word, ect.) can and will cause color and text flow problems, please contact us first or simply avoid using them. If you can't avoid using them, we will need alot of quality homemade baked goods as incentive.

We have both Mac and PC workstations, giving us the flexibility needed in todays market.

Our imagesetter is the AGFA SELECTSET 7000, capable of imaging a 20x26 piece of film. We do have access to larger equipment if your project specifications exceed that size.

Here are a few things to consider before submitting a job to us...

1. Have you made sure there is enough gripper edge for the press?
2. Have you made sure your document is set up in the correct size and orientation? If required, have you specified the reduction or enlargement size?
3. Have you included all screen and printer fonts used on both your document and within any EPS files imported into your document?
4. Have you checked your separated laser print outs to make sure your colors separate and trap correctly?
5. Have you collected all imported graphics files - EPS, TIFF, etc. into an individual folder?
6. Have you deleted unnecessary colors not used from the color palette?
7. If your job is multiple colors:
   Have you checked colors to process separate for spot and 4 color process printing (if required)? Note: All graphics supplied for 4 color printing must be CMYK not RGB.
8. Have you supplied a composite FINAL laserproof with colors indicated and a complete set of separated laser prints?
9. Have you included all your pictures to be scanned, with scalings, positions and cropping clearly marked?

Note: Some client supplied material for electronic prepress output is archived by Sharp and Company Printers for a limited time. We may no longer have all the files used for a job we printed 2 years ago.
